When Royal Caribbean's digital product team was impacted by COVID-19 layoffs, I was brought in to carry the app design forward as UI Designer. Designing the screens and interfaces that power the guest experience from booking to onboard activities, I applied design thinking and UX principles to help deliver a modern, scalable app covering everything from dining and deck maps to in-room delivery and real-time messaging, ensuring the project stayed on track during an incredibly challenging time for the industry.
